Paul is the Strategic Project Director for BRT and has been active in the Central Puget Sound’s transportation challenges for over 33 years. He spent the first 10 years in the region working as both Transportation Planner and Project Manager for the City of Bellevue Transportation Department. Paul is currently at Sound Transit where he has spent his 21-year tenure managing the design of Light Rail, Regional Express Bus, Sounder Commuter Rail, and Bus Rapid Transit projects. Within this time, Paul was a project manager and the Light Rail Development Manager for the East Link Extension, which is under construction and will be the first light rail system in the world to be built on a floating bridge.
Paul is now the Strategic Projects Director for Sound Transit’s first Bus Rapid Transit Program. has B.S, Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and is a licensed engineer.
