Ice Cream Social

This will be virtual event at Frosty Barrel Ice Cream and Brew Shop with Shawn Sweeney
Located in the Newcastle Commons, Frosty Barrel was opened in 2020 by Shawn and Allison Sweeney. After a corporate career with Starbucks, Shawn and Allison wanted to broaden their reach with a business in Newcastle. They live here, the kids go to Newcastle Elementary and play sports with their friends from school. The concept is ice cream and sorbets by themselves and paired with spirits, both beer and wine. Take out, dine in, and now the pandemic dine in the parking lot are the ways to enjoy Frosty Barrel. With the help of our member John Dulcich, they opened for business during the summer. Shawn will join us for our social and give you the inside story on how Frosty Barrel came to be.
